"Thank you and the Fitness Center for being there! Before joining the fitness center, I was gaining weight regularly, had no muscle tone, had little endurance, and my cholesterol was very bad. Although I haven't done any dieting, everything else has improved! I went for my yearly physical the end of September and just received my results...(list decreased values here). Additionally, my co-workers have noticed a change in my weight distribution. These successes give me the motivation to keep going! It is great to have your personal support and the fitness center located so convenient to me."

"Today to my surprise when I received the "personal best" newsletter I was looking for a number to call and give feedback. Sometimes when we are busy with all the new technology and research we forget to discuss about the simple basic facts with the patients. I enjoyed reading this and I think if this newsletter is placed in physician offices it will be an educational tool for patients. With increasing incidence of obesity among children this kind of teaching will be useful in school settings also. Consider disseminating this information for school students as well. I have gotten comments on three separate occasions form a doctor and 2 physical therapists on how “knowledgeable” the advice I’m receiving from the fitness center really is. I’ve been dealing with a back probable for a while now and the stretches and exercise you and your team has shown me are the same ones my doctor and therapist are showing me. They’re telling me “they really know what they’re doing there” and “glad to hear you’re getting good advice – keep going to those classes”. My previous therapist is now actually using some of the fitness centers core conditioning exercises you guy have tortured me with. So, thank you, I really do appreciate you, Kristen, Pam, and Carol.
